PRE-ORDER POLICY

By placing an order with Winds and Friends you are reserving inventory from our inaugural production release and securing your product for the first Lakeside Retreat Collection and Northern Comfort Collection.

Only a portion of our inaugural tiles, mats and racks will be available for pre-order so quantities are limited. Pre-order reservations may be canceled 7 days after purchase for a full refund with your original method of payment. After that date pre-order reservations become non-refundable as planning and manufacturing commitments begin. Pre-orders will close once production capacity is reached.

Estimated shipping time
Orders are currently expected to begin shipping in November 2026.
Please note that production timelines are estimates and may shift due to manufacturing, freight, customs or fulfilment timing. We will communicate proactively through the production process and share updates along the way.

Production & Fulfillment
Each of our tile sets are produced through a detailed, multi-step manufacturing and finishing process, including hand-painted engraving work. Because of the nature of preorder production, timelines may occasionally shift slightly beyond original estimates.

Shipping Delays
While we will always aim to meet estimated shipping timelines, Winds and Friends cannot guarantee exact shipment dates due to factors outside our control, including manufacturing, freight, customs, and carrier delays.

We greatly appreciate your patience and support as we bring our first collections to market.

Once delivered, orders are subject to Winds and Friends Return Policy.
Quality and Variations:

Because our tiles are machine painted, subtle variations, or finish are a natural result of the crafting process. These gentle distinctions are the hallmark of true artistry rather than perfection in a mold, and are not considered defects.
Although our tiles come high gloss polished, very fine surface scratches can occur naturally on acrylic mahjong tiles, especially after time. These subtle variations are also the result of the tumbling and polishing process used during production and may be more visible on darker colours. These characteristics are considered normal and do not affect the quality, durability, or playability of your tiles. As such, these unique characteristics do not qualify for returns or exchanges.
Care instructions:

Do not submerge in water. Keep from long exposures in direct sunlight. Never use alcohol or abrasive cleaners on tiles they are painted and this could cause smudging. Wash with a clean cloth and gentle cleaner and dry.
